8-Truck Flatbed Carrier

Sample build · Pro tier

Sample build — a fleet profile we work with, not a real client engagement. The numbers below are the price, turnaround, and guarantees we publish on our web development page, not outcomes we're claiming to have already produced.

Semi truck crossing a blue-hour desert highway

The situation

An 8-truck flatbed carrier hauling steel and building materials across five states was running a website built in 2019 on a drag-and-drop builder. It took six seconds to load on a phone — which is where drivers and dispatchers actually open it. It had one contact form, wired to an address nobody had checked since the office manager left.

Two audiences were fighting over the same page. Shippers wanted lane coverage, equipment specs, insurance, and authority. Drivers wanted pay, home time, and a way to apply without printing anything. Both got the same paragraph about quality service since 2011, and both left.

So the real lead source was word of mouth and the load board, which caps growth at whoever happens to call. Searches for flatbed capacity in their own region returned competitors, because there was nothing on the site for Google to understand.

What we'd build

Pro tier, three weeks, dual-audience information architecture. The fix is not a prettier homepage — it is two front doors instead of one hallway.

The shippers path leads with what a broker or plant manager checks before calling: equipment by trailer type, a five-state coverage map in Mapbox with a pin per lane and terminal, insurance and operating authority visible without having to ask, and a quote form that routes to ops. The drivers path puts pay range and home time above the fold, then an FMCSA-compliant application built to carry three-year employment history, license, and residence — mobile-first, because drivers apply from the cab, not from a desk.

Compliance is not a page, it is the footer: USDOT number, MC number, SAFER snapshot link, and insurance carrier line on every page, standard from the Starter tier up, and updated in the CMS rather than in the markup when the carrier changes.

And the failure mode we design out on every build: no form submits to nowhere. Every inquiry lands in the inbox AND in a CMS dashboard the owner can search six months later, so a lead that came in during a busy week is still findable when things calm down. On-page SEO, sitemap submission, and a fleet showcase round out the tier — plus three rounds of revisions and 30 days of post-launch support.
